Inspiration: Repose represents the balance between work and life. It was designed to conceal its function as a work surface until needed in a home or office environment. Integrated handles on the underside of the top surface allow the table to be easily moved. The voided segment in the base ring exists to allow sliding it under a chair or sofa leg. By mixing solid wood and custom layered hardwood, the master craftsmen at Wooda were uniquely able to maintain the lightness and proportionality of the original design intent, while still maintaining structural rigidity.
Repose is designed with the enhanced functionality to support occasional work and keep pace with the ever-changing nature of our increasingly mobile work-life.
